My film and television career kicked off with 14 years at ʻŌlelo Community Media, where I learned the craft by doing it, repeatedly, at a professional level, and often under real broadcast pressure. I worked across nearly every aspect of television production, from directing Hawaiʻi’s largest student video awards competition to producing broadcast-ready campaigns, on-air graphics, scripts, and branded programming. Those years gave me true end-to-end experience taking ideas from concept to screen and making them look polished, intentional, and ready for air.

Alongside production, I led high-visibility branding across four linear television channels and digital platforms, while training producers to shoot, edit, and deliver work to professional broadcast standards. Fourteen years in this environment showed me how to move fast without cutting corners, think creatively while staying technical, and collaborate with people and communities to bring ambitious productions to life - lessons that still guide how I approach every project today.

My work at Spread the Word Nevada has been a hands-on exploration of how storytelling, design, and strategy intersect to advance a mission I deeply believe in: children's literacy. As Marketing Manager, I’ve led a full brand refresh, redesigning the logo, website, and visual identity to create a cohesive presence across all channels. From producing video campaigns that highlight our programs to developing brochures, outreach materials, and signage for the company's new forever home, I’ve helped make the organization’s work visible, engaging, and impactful to communities across the state.

Beyond creative production, my role has allowed me to shape experiences that connect people to our mission. I’ve served as the creative director for the annual Storybook Gala, created multi-channel assets for a major capital campaign, and orchestrated the launch of a company storefront, ensuring messaging, design, and execution all work together seamlessly. These years have shown me how to think strategically while staying hands-on, collaborate across teams and partners, and bring ideas to life in ways that meaningfully engage donors - a balance of creativity, communication, and connection that continues to guide how I approach every project.
